The fastest piano playing ever Barry Lyndon style

An unofficial world piano playing speed record. Jozef Kapustka plays Chopin Minute waltz in 58 seconds. This represents roughly over 750 notes per minute or approximately 13 notes per second. Although there is not a slightest trace of evidence that Chopin intended the piece to be played at a supersonic speed, it has been a hard to die fantasm of many generations of pianists to “make it” in or under 1 minute. Even though actually possible to physically accomplish in a more or less successful manner it remains nevertheless a little convincing and somehow confusing stunt that is totally unjustified musically and artistically. Recorded live in March 2011. A musical joke that does not constitute a valid performance nor was intended as such. Consultation: Yuki Takahashi and Yuko Hitsumoto. The Waltz in D flat major, Op. 64, No. 1, popularly known as the Minute Waltz, and also Valse du petit chien, is a waltz for solo piano by Frédéric Chopin. It is dedicated to the Countess Delfina Potocka.Chopin wrote the waltz in 1847 and had it published by Breitkopf & Härtel in Leipzig the same year, as the first of the Trois Valses, Op. 64. The second waltz is in the enharmonic parallel minor key of C sharp minor. The piece is given the tempo marking Molto vivace. The waltz is a playful piece, more so than any of Chopin’s other waltzes. Camille Bourniquel, one of Chopin’s biographers, reminds the reader that Chopin got the inspiration for this waltz as he was watching a small dog chase its

Erroll Garner Playing Misty-Authentic Version

This is Erroll Garner himself dramatically performing his famous piece. It is everything Liberace’s is not. This performance is executed in the style in which he wrote it before the words were composed at a later date. Look at me, I’m as helpless as a kitten up a tree And I feel like I’m clinging to a cloud I can’t understand, I get misty, holding your hand. Walk my way, And a thousand violins begin to play Or it might be the sound of your hello That music I hear, I get misty the moment you’re near You can say that you’re leading me on But it’s just what I want you to do Don’t you realize how hopelessly I’m lost That’s why I’m following you. On my own, Would I wander through this wonderland alone Never knowing my right foot from my left, My hat from my glove, I get misty, and too much in love. Myplaylists include music by Lee Liberace, Jon England, Richard Clayderman, Roger Williams, Hoagy Carmichael, Michel Legrand, Art Tatum, Dino Kartsonakis, Errol Garner, Charlie Schaffer, Russ Conway, Ferrante & Teicher, Carl Doy, Beegie Adair, Caravelli, Floyd Cramer, Geoff Love, Horst Jankowski, Ronnie Aldrich, Stanley Black, David Foster, Claude Bolling, Edison Valencia, Marrina Waks, and one Liberace imitator who tags his stuff [Roger Williams] and [Branson] and has told me not to mention his name. There are also many pieces by little known [nobodies] who are fantastic piano soloists, admired mainly by their YouTube fans. I am looking for videos of Bill Pursell, Felix Slatkin

George Bennett (12) from West Sussex UK,was given the great opportunity to play the unique and wonderful “Liberace Baldwin 9ft Mirrored Grand Piano” at The Liberace Museum in Las Vegas on Thursday 21st August 2008. George is completely self taught and plays everything by ear, he admires Liberace and all fine piano players and especially would love to meet and jam with the UK’s Jamie Cullum.
